Healthy Cities movement emphasizes to sustained create a supportive
environment for health by using community involvement and collaboration. The
process of community involvement, such as collaboration¡Bcoalition¡Balliances¡Bpartnerships
and networks, is used to describe ¡¥working together¡¦; i.e. different individuals
and organizations combine their human and material resources to accomplish the
objectives they are unable to bring about alone. The purpose of the paper is to
understand what is the types of collaboration or partnerships¡Hwhat is
so-called successful partnerships¡H what factors
affect partnerships¡H Three types of partnership
were found: individual-organization level¡Borganization-organization
level and organization-researcher level. Factors associated with different
types of partnerships vary. The most important factors are continually participated,
shared vision and goals, and effective leaderships.
